Overview
The Druk Path is Bhutan best-known short trek, following an old trail between the valleys of Paro and Thimphu across high ridges. Along the way you pass alpine lakes, rhododendron and juniper forests and the hilltop ruins of Jele Dzong, with views of Jomolhari and other sacred peaks on clear days.
The tour begins with a day in Paro and a hike to Taktsang Monastery, Tiger Nest, which helps you acclimatise. It ends with sightseeing in Thimphu, the capital. Trekking is done with a camping crew and guides, so you can enjoy the walking and the scenery.
