Overview
Bardia National Park, in western Nepal, is a quieter alternative to Chitwan, with a wilder feel, fewer visitors and excellent wildlife. The park protects sal forest, grassland and the Karnali river, and is home to Bengal tigers, one-horned rhinos, wild elephants, gharials and a wide range of birds.
This four-day safari uses jeeps, guided walks and boat rides to give you the best chances of wildlife sightings, with evenings in a comfortable jungle lodge and a Tharu cultural programme.
