Overview
Khopra Danda is a high ridge at about 3,660 m in the Annapurna region, reached by a trail that branches off the popular Ghorepani route. The ridge looks directly across at Annapurna South, Dhaulagiri and Nilgiri, and the lodges here are community-run, so your stay supports local villages.
The trek combines rhododendron forest, village culture and big mountain views, with much quieter trails than the busy Annapurna routes. An optional hike to Khayer Lake adds a high-altitude day for those who want more.
