Mera Peak Climbing

16 Days

Overview

Mera Peak is the highest trekking peak in Nepal at about 6,476 m, and its summit offers one of the greatest panoramas in the Himalaya, with views of Everest, Lhotse, Makalu, Cho Oyu and Kanchenjunga.

The approach goes through the remote Hinku valley, with forest, rhododendron and quiet villages. The climb itself is not technically hard, but the altitude and the long summit day make it a serious challenge for fit, well-acclimatised trekkers.
