Overview
This short trek is perfect for first-time trekkers, families and anyone with only a few days. The trail climbs through terraced fields and rhododendron forest to Ghandruk, one of the largest Gurung villages in Nepal, with stone houses, a small museum and wide views of Annapurna South and Machhapuchhre.
You stay in family-run lodges or homestays and eat home-cooked food. The trek can be shortened or extended and combines well with a stay in Pokhara.
