Annapurna(8091m), Mt Dhaulagiri ( 8167). you can get the lifetime experience to see dramatic views of mountains with pristine forests covered with Rhododendron flowers, diversity of flora and fauna, different species of birds, charming Gurung villages and their cultural which make Ghorepani Poon Hill trek one of the most charming short treks.

General Itinerary

1st day-  Arrive at Kathmandu Airport meet the representative. Drive to the hotel. Hotel check in. Evening briefing about the program by our guide. O/N stay at hotel on sharing basis.                                           Dinner (Nepali cultural show)

Kathmandu is only one  Mahanagar (Metropolitan City),  City The city stands at an elevation of approximately 1,400 metres (4,600 ft) in the bowl-shaped Kathmandu Valley of central Nepal.  It is surrounded by four major hills: Shivapuri, Phulchoki, Nagarjun, and Chandragiri. Kathmandu Valley is part of three districts (Kathmandu, Lalitpur, and Bhaktapur), has the highest population density in the country, and is home to about a twelfth of Nepal’s population.

Kathmandu is the gateway to tourism in Nepal. It has the most advanced infrastructure of  urban area in Nepal, and its economy is focused on tourism, which accounted for 3.8% of Nepal’s GDP in 1995/96. Tourism in Kathmandu declined thereafter during a period of political unrest, but since then has improved. In 2013, Kathmandu was ranked third among the top 10 travel destinations on the rise in the world by  Trip Advisor ranked first in Asia

2nd day-  Kathmandu-Pokhara  or optional is flight (25 minutes)

Morning at 6.30 Am Departure to Pokhara by tourist bus takes 7 hrs. Arrive at pokhara by 3 PM. Pick up from the bus station by guide and transfer to the hotel for hotel check in. O/N stay at hotel.

Welcome to Pokhara. Pokhara is the third largest city in Nepal after Kathmandu and Biratnagar. It is the starting point for most of the treks in the Annapurna area. It is considered by many to be the most beautiful place in the whole world.  It is also one of the most popular and beautiful tourist destination of Nepal.
In no other place do mountains rise so quickly. In this area, within 30 km, the elevation rises from 1,000 m to over 7,500 m. Due to this sharp rise in altitude the area of Pokhara has one of the highest precipitation rates of the country (over 4,000 mm/year). Even within the city there is a noticeable difference in the amount of rain between the south of the city by the lake and the north at the foot of the mountains.

3rd day -Pokhara-Nayapool- Ulleri

Morning breakfast at hotel. Drive Pokhara to Nayapul by private transport takes around 1.30 hrs and trek  to Ullery (4-5 hrs ) or Birethanti. O/N stay at guest house.

4th day -.   Ulleri – Gorepani

Trek to  Ullery or Birethanti to Ghorepani  (5-6 hrs). O/N stay at guest house.

Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner 

5th day –  Hiking  Poonhill – back Ghorepani, – Tadapani(6-7 hrs)

This morning, we will get up early in the morning, and go for hiking to Poon Hill. From here you will see superb view of sunrise, and panoramic view of Himalayas, including Mt. Dhaulagiri, Annapurna South, Fishtail, and so on. After visiting Poonhill, we will come back to Ghorepani, have a  breakfast, and continue walking to Tadapani. Overnight at Guest House.

6th day   Tadapani or  Ghandruk to Nayapool – Pokhara(Nayapool- Pokhara by private car)
The day starts with short downhill. Leaving Tadapani, we descend steeply through forests and then the trail eases as we reach Ghandrunk (2000m), which is the village of Gurung people, one of the ethnic groups of Nepal, have their own dialect, typical culture, costume, and life style. This village is possibly the popular tourist destination that offers the beautiful mountain views and having easy connection with Pokhara.  Overnight at Guest House.                                                                                                             Breakfast, Lunch

7th day -Pokhara – kathmandu

The day morning breakfast at hotel. Drop to the Tourist bus station at 7 AM. Back to Kathmandu by tourist bus. Receive at Kathmandu. Hotel check in. O/N stay at hotel.


8th day – Rest and  free to buy the souvenirs. Explore the kathmandu city.


9th day – Breakfast at hotel. Departure to the airport as per scheduled flights
